What file formats do you accept for printing orders?

We accept print-ready PDF files for printing orders. A "print-ready" file is final, with correct resolution, size, bleed, crop marks, and all colors in CMYK mode. Customers are responsible for proofreading; GraphiXcel is not liable for any mistakes after the print file has been approved.

What is the typical turnaround time for printing projects?

The typical turnaround time for most of our print jobs is 3-5 business days. For larger quantities or large format jobs, the process may take a bit longer, potentially up to 7-9 business days in rare instances. We take every measure to ensure that your job is completed in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing both quality and speed.

Do you provide design services, or should I provide my own artwork?

Yes, we provide design services at a rate of $75 per hour. You're welcome to supply your own artwork, provided it's print-ready and meets our requirements. If your artwork needs reworking to become print-ready, additional design service charges may apply. For quoted design work, up to two revised proofs are included in the cost; additional proofs will incur extra fees. This policy is in place to ensure we are narrowing down your design in a focused and efficient manner.

Are there any specific requirements for images or graphics used in the designs?

For printing, images should be 300 dpi and at least 150 dpi for large format signage. Logos need to be in vector format for quality scaling. Ensure all text is in outlines to maintain font consistency and clarity.

What printing technologies do you use, and how does it affect the quality of the final product?

We utilize various printing technologies, such as spot and raised UV printing, and also print on specialized papers like pearl, clear and frosted plastic, as well as anti-tear paper. Our capabilities include rounding corners on printed items and contour cutting on signs. These technologies don't negatively impact print quality; instead, they enhance the final product, adding to its uniqueness and durability.

Can you assist with selecting the right materials for my print job?

Absolutely, we can assist in selecting the right materials for your print job. With years of experience in the print industry, we are experts in all facets and can guide you in making the best choices for your specific needs.

Yes, there are minimum order quantities for most of our printed items. For large format printing, we can accommodate lower quantities. If you have questions about minimums, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team for more information.

What types of finishing options are available, such as lamination or binding?

We offer various finishing options for our print products. While some items can be laminated, most come with a UV coating, making them resistant to fading and scratches. For binding, we provide saddle stitch, coil, and perfect binding options, particularly suitable for booklets and books.

How do you handle color accuracy to ensure consistency across print runs?

We ensure color accuracy by matching our CMYK values to the customer's provided Pantone colors, ensuring an accurate match across print runs. If necessary, we can provide a hard copy proof for your review, to ensure you're satisfied with the color outcome before proceeding with the full print run.

What is your policy on proofs, and can I review and approve a sample before full production?

For every job, we provide a PDF proof which must be approved before we start production. No job will commence until we receive your approval. If needed, we can also provide a hard copy proof to ensure accuracy and quality before beginning the full run.

Do you offer shipping or delivery services for printed materials?

We offer shipping services for printed materials throughout the United States and Canada, but do not ship overseas. If you need a job in a rush, we provide local rush delivery within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for a fee.
